When life gets tough and you fall to your knees, search for your roots. My mom can no longer hug me or talk to me about my day, but her old recipes leave me feeling like I did 30 years ago as a young kid baking with my mom. Thank you mom for teaching me that the heart is just a stones throw from the stomach… so when you think you can’t get through pour your soul into your food and be grateful. 😊

Happy Halloween! I’m as creeped out by wearing this as I was watching it decades ago. However, I’ve never been asked by so many students if they can get a hug.
